- Civic activities and charities involved in: Childrens Miracle Network Sponsor (my company's donation total was over $27,400 for 2009) the RE/MAX Northern Illinois' donation total was $123,500 for 2009; Various campaigns against domestic violence; Save the Manatee (know what they are?) Organization in Florida; Kevlar vests for our Illinois Police Dogs; Locks of Love Hair Donations of which I donated 10" of my own hair in 2006; Helping Our Heroes which raises money for Illinois Military Personnel in financial distress due to deployment; Pet adoption at Petfinders and Almost Home Foundation.
- I have no time for hobbies - it's all real estate, all the time! I do enjoy: My adopted Brittany Spaniel 'Bella', horses, shopping (hey, especially for shoes), international travel and I love helicopters, planes and all types of flying! I will tell you that I've been fortunate enough to climb a pyramid in Egypt and explore Abu Simbal by camel in Aswan. I've flown a 1940's navy trainer in an aerial dog fight and found out that being upside down in an airplane is really not that bad! I've ridden an elephant in Thailand and yes they really are as big as you think they are and very, very quiet! I kayaked the waves, climbed volcanic cones and rode horses on the beach in Phuket where they had the big tsunami. The Eiffel Tower was great and I really enjoyed seeing the Palace of Versailles and a few other castles when I was in France. So ... I guess I've done a few other things besides real estate!
